2nd Signal Company
"The Signal Company would have been part of the Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division. Marine regiments had a communications platoon in the regimental headquarters company. The divisional signal company supported the division HQ and provided communications between it, the division's regiments and other divisional units, higher headquarters, and adjacent units though radio and field telephones."
