Please Note:

Friday and Saturday night food will be available at the field kitchen for a $3 donation at registration.

 

The Joliet National Guard Training Area, located 40 miles southwest of Chicago, Illinois, contains more than 500 acres of varied terrain with thick forests, narrow trails, a small river, plenty of open land, and a road network. This will be our battlefield on the second weekend in October. Plan to pitch your tent Friday night or stay or stay in a forward position at the front. There are no barracks.

Registration is 1200 to 2100 on Friday and 0700-0900 on Saturday. If you have not pre-registered by October 5, please bring your signed forms with you. If you are planning on arriving early please let the event staff know.

On Saturday orders will be given at 0730 formation and the fighting will commence at 0800. A Friday evening scenario from 1900 to 2100 is possible depending on arrival of troops at the front.

Water will be provided, but bring your own rations, and keep your head down!

Jeeps, halftracks, armor, and P51s are welcome but all vehicles will need to be pre-registered! Vehicle owners will have their battle fees waived.

Medics, you will be needed! We will employ a medic card system! All medics will have their entrance fee waived if they pre-register. Actual qualified medical personnel in uniform will also have the battle fee waived.

Members of all recognized reenacting organization are welcome. Please have your membership card ready at check in. All WWIIHRS safety and authenticity rules will apply.

Open to Axis, Soviet, US, and Commonwealth troops. Resistance and partisans are welcome to participate on a limited basis.

If you have not mailed your registration forms by October 5 please bring them with you to Joliet along with your battle fee of $15. Having your papers ready will save time at registration for the event staff.
